New Feature Release : Caller-ID PIN Bypass May 26, 2007

Today we’re announcing the release of a new feature many have asked for. That is the ability to use caller-id to bypass your PIN code entry.
You may now add your number, or the number of anyone you like, to the list of approved callers who may post to your blogs or podcasts.
To set this up on your account, click on the Account Tab, then click “Caller ID”.
The list will show only numbers that have successfully called into our media center using your PIN code, so if you don’t see your number in the list yet, dial into the media center and login one more time, then refresh this page.
When you see your number in the list, select the checkbox next to it, and then select “Grant PIN-less Authorization” from the drop-down list above. Your number is now approved for PIN bypass.

Hipcast has been down now for the last 12 hours and I’d like to know what’s going on? Is it temporary or is Hipcast out of business? The Hipcast link goes to Kellysdomains, which is a sight that sells domain names. This isn’t a good sign.
It sure would be nice if Eric Rice and those running Hipcast, gave a shit about informing their customers. Then again, I should be used to it by now, as they never respond to any of my comments or Emails.
But hey, if you guys running Hipcast get a second, maybe you can let us know what the hell is going on. I know you’re all really busy, but maybe you could find a second to communicate with us?
I just need to know if I should sign up with a new site and start uploading my 100 episodes. I also need to know what to tell my audience…but yeah, who cares…right?
